There are many sources of free independent financial advice who will help you assess your situation and devise the best course of action for you.
If you have an Interest Only mortgage we recommend that you visit the Money Advice Service (MAS) there are a number of MAS website pages relating to interest only mortgages:
- Take action on your interest only mortgage now
- How to review your current interest only mortgage
- Form an action plan to repay your interest only mortgage
You may also want to contact a financial adviser to discuss your mortgage situation. An adviser can help you select the most appropriate course of action based on your individual circumstances.
If you don’t have a financial adviser, the Money Advice Service (MAS) website also provides links to organisations that provide financial advice:
Please note that not all advisers can provide advice on lifetime mortgages. If you think that may form part of your plan you should ensure your chosen adviser can offer this service. In this case in addition to the MAS website, you may find the Equity Release Council’s web site useful:
- Equity Release Council: www.equityreleasecouncil.com
This will be sent to you in May every year.
Please send your new details to Mortgage Administration, Gateway House, Gargrave Road, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 1UD
